Human CCL2 (MCP-1) ELISA
Background:
CCL2, also known as monocyte chemotactic protein-1, is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. There are at least 27 distinct members of the C-C subgroup reported for mammals. They are characterized by two adjacent cysteines. CCL2 recruits monocytes, memory T cells, and dendritic cells to sites of tissue injury and infection. CCL2 is implicated in pathogeneses of several diseases characterized by monocytic infiltrates, such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis and atherosclerosis.Description:
The Human CCL2 (MCP-1) ELISA contains capture antibody, standard, and detection antibody for development of a Human CCL2 ELISA. The antibodies have been determined to function in an ELISA with the standard provided. Optimal buffers, concentrations, incubation times, incubation temperatures, and methods for the ELISA have not been determined. This allows for complete flexibility to provide optimal dynamic range and sensitivity based on your sample type. The Human CCL2 ELISA can also be used to measure Chimpanzee, Western Lowland Gorilla, and Northern White-cheeked Gibbon CCL2. Alternate names include CCL2, GDCF-2, HC11, HSMCR30, MCAF, MCP-1, MCP1, SCYA2, SMC-CF, C-C motif chemokine ligand 2. The quantities of components provided are not matched. Components may also be purchased separately. For research use only.Homology:
