Chicken CCL4 (MIP-1 beta) ELISA

• Background:

  CCL4 belongs to the CC chemokine family and is commonly known as MIP-1β. There are at least 27 distinct members of the C-C subgroup reported for mammals. They are characterized by two adjacent cysteines. CC chemokines induce the migration of monocytes and other cell types such as NK cells and dendritic cells. CCL4 is a chemoattractant for natural killer cells, monocytes and a variety of other immune cells. CCL4 is involved in several inflammatory and autoimmune diseases including viral infection such as HIV-1/AIDS.

• Description:

  The Chicken CCL4 (MIP-1beta) ELISA contains capture antibody, recombinant protein standard, and detection antibody for development of a Chicken CCL4 ELISA. The antibodies have been determined to function in an ELISA with the standard provided. Optimal buffers, concentrations, incubation times, incubation temperatures, and methods for the ELISA have not been determined. This allows for complete flexibility to provide optimal dynamic range and sensitivity based on your sample type. The quantities of components provided are not matched.
