Background:
The heteroteramer with HSD17B8 has NADH-dependent 3-ketoacyl-acyl carrier protein reductase activity. May play a role in biosynthesis of fatty acids in mitochondria. The homotetramer may act as NADPH-dependent quinone reductase.
