Lambda Protein Phosphatase (Lambda PP)
Description :
Lambda Protein Phosphatase (Lambda PP) is a Mn2+-dependent protein phosphatase with activity towards phosphorylated serine, threonine and tyrosine residues. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that hydrolyzes 1 nmol of p-Nitrophenyl Phosphate (50 mM) in 1 minute at 30°C in a total reaction volume of 50 µl.Expression System :
E. coliNature :
RecombinantApplications :
Remove phosphate groups from phosphorylated serine, threonine and tyrosine residues in proteins.Endotoxin :

>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.Form :
LiquidBuffer :
100 mM NaCl, 50 mM HEPES, pH 7.5, 0.1 mM MnCl2, 0.1 mM EDTA, 2 mM DTT, 0.01% Brij35, and 50% glycerol.Shipping Conditions :
In general, proteins are provided as lyophilized powder/frozen liquid. They are shipped out with dry ice/blue ice unless customers require otherwise.Storage Conditions :
Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.Store at 2 to 8 °C for one week .Store at -20 to -80 °C for twelve months from the date of receipt.Notes :
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. For research use only.Calculated Molecular Weight :
