Description
IL-4 Protein, a key participant in B-cell activation and various cell types, acts as a costimulator of DNA synthesis. It induces class II MHC molecules on B-cells, enhances IgE and IgG1 secretion and expression, and regulates CD23 on lymphocytes and monocytes. IL-4 positively regulates IL31RA in macrophages and stimulates autophagy in dendritic cells by interfering with mTORC1 signaling and inducing RUFY4.
