Background
C3 is a central component of the complement system, consisting of a beta-chain (75 kDa) and an alpha-chain (110 kDa) connected by cystein bridges. Cleavage of C3 into C3b (177 kDa) and C3a (9 kDa) is a pivotal step in the complement activation cascade, which can be initiated by three distinct pathways—the classical, the lectin and the alternative complement pathway.
Description
Our mouse Complement C3 monoclonal antibody from Antibodies Incorporated is produced in-house from clone F1-8. It detects human Complement C3 and is Protein A or Protein G purified. Works in ELISA, IP, IAP.
