Description
Cy5-bifunctional dye potassium is a water-soluble bifunctional dye with two NHS ester terminal groups. The NHS ester can react specifically and efficiently under neutral or mildly alkaline conditions with primary amines, such as lysine residue side chains or amino silane-coated surfaces, forming covalent bonds. This dye is applicable for amine cross-linking and other advanced labeling applications.
