Description
Tyrosinase-IN-49 (Compound 12) is a potent mixed-type chalcone tyrosinase inhibitor, exhibiting an IC50 value of 0.19 μM. It demonstrates significant antioxidant potential by effectively scavenging DPPH and ABTS free radicals. The compound chelates the dinuclear copper ions at the active site of tyrosinase and reduces Cu2+ to Cu+, thereby decreasing the enzyme's catalytic activity.
