Description
MGB4 is a DNA minor groove binder. It can bind to DNA containing ARE and inhibit the activity of topoisomerase I (topoisomerase I) . MGB4 impacts critical cellular pathways, including the suppression of translation and alteration of sphingolipid and amino acid metabolism. When used in combination with Doxorubicin, MGB4 also reduces the metabolism of spermine and spermidine. MGB4 is applicable in cancer research, such as in prostate cancer studies.
