Description
Rheoemodin, an anthraquinone and antibacterial agent (antibacterial), is isolated from Cordyceps morakotii BCC 56811. It exhibits antibacterial activity against Acinetobacter baumannii with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 12.5 μg/mL. Rheoemodin shows mild to moderate antimycobacterial and antifungal properties and demonstrates anticancer activity against breast cancer and small-cell lung cancer.
