D-PheTrAP is a potent bisubstrate analog inhibitor targeting 1-deoxy-d-xylulose 5-phosphate synthase (DXPS) . It effectively inhibits both Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa DXPS variants, including specific mutants, with IC50 values in the low micromolar range.
