Description
Probucol dithiobisphenol (DTBP) is an orally active, small-molecule inducer of heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1) with antioxidant activity. It has demonstrated efficacy in reducing atherosclerotic lesions in Apoe−/− mice and promoting re-endothelialization while suppressing restenosis in rabbit injury models, supporting cardiovascular disease research.
