Description

Hypoxystat is an orally active small molecule that increases hemoglobin's oxygen affinity, reducing tissue oxygen delivery to induce hypoxia. It has been shown to ameliorate Leigh syndrome in Ndufs4 knockout mouse models, making it a research tool for studying mitochondrial disorders and hypoxia-related pathways.
