Cilofexor

• Description :

  Cilofexor (GS-9674), is a nonsteroidal bile acid farnesoid X receptor (FXR) agonist. It improves markers of cholestasis and liver injury in patients with PSC. PSC is an incurable rare chronic liver disease triggered by environmental, immunobiologic and genetic underpinnings resulting in imbalance in bile acids homeostasis that leads to cholestasis with inflammation and fibrosis of the bile ducts.
