Description
6,6′-Trehalose dioleate (6,6′-TDO) is a glycolipid excipient for mRNA encapsulation in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), enhancing immunogenicity in vaccine research. In vivo studies show it promotes a Th1/Th2 antibody response (IgG2a/IgG1) without inducing significant hepatotoxicity or renal markers in mice, supporting its use for safer nucleic acid delivery platforms.
