MGS-0210 (BCI-838) is an orally bioavailable prodrug that is metabolized to an antagonist of metabotropic glutamate receptors 2 and 3 (mGluR2/3) . It has been utilized in preclinical research to investigate the role of these receptors in central nervous system disorders, including studies involving animal models of depression and anxiety.
