MKLP2-IN-1 (compound 12a) is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of the mitotic kinesin MKLP2. It potently inhibits MKLP2 ATPase activity in vitro and has demonstrated efficacy in suppressing tumor growth in a Calu-6 mouse xenograft model, supporting its use in cancer research.
