MLS-0053105 is a chloromaleimide-based selective BFL-1 inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.4 μM. It exhibits over tenfold selectivity against Bcl-W, Bcl-2, and Bcl-XL and is inactive against Bcl-B and Mcl-1. This tool compound is used in vitro to study BFL-1's role in apoptosis and cancer cell survival.
