Description
BAY 593 is a potent and selective geranylgeranyltransferase-I (GGTase-I) inhibitor that blocks Rho-GTPase activation and downstream YAP1/TAZ signaling. It demonstrates dose-dependent antitumor activity in vitro (IC50: 38.4 nM in MT-1080 cells) and in vivo in xenograft models, supporting its use in cancer research, particularly for studying the Hippo pathway.
