10-Methoxy-canthin-6-one is a DNA-intercalating agent that induces DNA damage, leading to G2/M cell cycle arrest and subsequent differentiation in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and leukemia stem cells (LSCs) . This small molecule is a valuable research tool for studying myeloid differentiation and p38 MAPK signaling in both in vitro and in vivo leukemia models.
