Cyanopindolol is a dual antagonist of β3-adrenergic receptors and presynaptic serotonin (5-HT1A/1B) autoreceptors, with high affinity (Ki values of 2.1 nM and 3 nM, respectively) . It is utilized in neuroscience research to study serotonergic and adrenergic signaling in both in vitro binding assays and in vivo models of receptor function.
