Description
AMPK-IN-1 is a small molecule activator of the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), selectively activating the α2β2γ1 isoform with an EC50 of 551 nM. It promotes eEF2 phosphorylation via an mTORC1-independent mechanism and is a valuable tool for studying AMPK signaling in metabolic and cellular stress research in vitro.
