Description
Trimetaphan camsilate is a short-acting, non-depolarizing ganglionic blocker that competitively antagonizes nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. It is used in research to induce controlled hypotension and to study autonomic nervous system function in both in vivo and in vitro experimental models.
