Description
CP21 is a tridentate iron chelator active against P. falciparum and protective in neuronal oxytosis and cytotoxicity models. It inhibits agonist-induced prostaglandin I2 production in vascular tissue and promotes selective iron excretion in vivo, supporting research in parasitology, neuroscience, and iron metabolism.
