Description
EPI-589 is a quinone-based small molecule inhibitor of oxidoreductase enzymes, demonstrating a favorable safety profile and therapeutic potential for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) . It has shown neuroprotective effects in preclinical in vitro models and in vivo studies using SOD1-G93A transgenic mice.
