Description
J-2156 is a potent and selective somatostatin SST4 receptor agonist, exhibiting IC50 values of 0.05 nM (human) and 0.07 nM (rat) . In rat models of neuropathic pain, it alleviates mechanical allodynia and hyperalgesia with ED50 values of 3.7 and 8.0 mg/kg, respectively, supporting its use in pain research.
