Gamma-DGG is a selective, competitive antagonist of AMPA-type glutamate receptors. It is widely used in neuroscience research to study excitatory synaptic transmission, neuronal excitability, and the role of AMPA receptors in both in vitro electrophysiology and in vivo models of neurological function and disease.
