Description
L6Y is a small molecule stabilizer of transthyretin (TTR) that acts by occupying the thyroxine (T4) binding site, thereby inhibiting tetramer dissociation into amyloidogenic monomers. This mechanism supports its application in researching TTR amyloidosis, including in vitro stabilization assays and in vivo model studies.
