Description
3,5-dimethyl PIT-1 is a soluble analog of the PIP3/Akt PH domain binding inhibitor PIT-1. It blocks PI3K/Akt signaling (IC50 = 27 μM), reducing viability and inducing apoptosis in PTEN-deficient glioblastoma cells in vitro, and attenuates breast cancer growth in mouse models in vivo.
