Description
Benastatin A is a Streptomyces-derived polyketide with glutathione S-transferase inhibitory activity (Ki=5 μM) . It exhibits antibacterial effects against pathogens like MRSA and induces apoptosis and G1/G0 cell cycle arrest in colon cancer cells in vitro.
