Description
15 (R) -Pinane thromboxane A2 is the (R) -epimer of PTA2. It exhibits minimal activity in inhibiting collagen-induced platelet aggregation (IC50 ~120-130 μM) and is less potent than PTA2 in blocking prostaglandin-induced contractions in isolated rat stomach muscle, making it a useful comparative tool in thromboxane receptor and cardiovascular research.
