Description
C2 Phytoceramide is a bioactive sphingolipid that potently inhibits formyl peptide-induced oxidant release (IC50 = 0.38 μM) in neutrophils and induces apoptosis in keratinocytes (ED50 = 30 μM) . It upregulates COX-2 via ERK signaling and exhibits antiproliferative effects in CHO cells. This compound is a valuable tool for researching inflammation, apoptosis, and sphingolipid signaling pathways in cellular models.
