• Storage Conditions:

  May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

• Specificity:

  Histone specific, reacting preferentially with histone H1, a nuclear protein necessary for the condensation of nucleosome chains into higher order structures. This antibody stains nuclei of all human cell types and also stains chromosomes diffusely in metaphase cells. Intense diffuse staining is obtained in interphase cells.Species crossreactivity: rat.
