Description
Cajanin demonstrates potential hypolipidemic and antidiabetic properties. It upregulates ABCA1 to enhance macrophage cholesterol efflux and reverse cholesterol transport. In vitro, it concentration-dependently stimulates basal glucose uptake in HepG2 cells, showing activity greater than rosiglitazone.
