AMG 487 is a selective small molecule CXCR3 antagonist, potently blocking CXCL10 and CXCL11 binding with IC50 values of approximately 8 nM. It is widely used in research to investigate the role of CXCR3 in autoimmune diseases, transplant rejection, and cancer biology, employing both in vitro binding assays and in vivo disease models.
