Description
Etidronic acid (HEDP) is a bisphosphonate compound that modulates calcium metabolism by inhibiting pathological calcification and reducing the rate of bone resorption and turnover. It is widely used in osteoporosis research and in vitro studies of mineralization, as well as in vivo models of ectopic bone formation.
