Description
Puromycin aminonucleoside (NSC 3056) is a purine analog antibiotic that reversibly inhibits dipeptidyl peptidase and cytosolic alanine aminopeptidase. It is widely used to establish experimental nephrotic syndrome models in vivo, as it induces podocyte injury and apoptosis through oxidative stress-dependent mechanisms.
