Description
PLX5622 is an orally bioavailable CSF1R inhibitor that selectively ablates microglia in rodent brains. It is extensively used in vivo to model microglia-related neuroinflammation, neurodegeneration (e.g., Alzheimer's and Parkinson's), brain injury, and neuroimmune interactions, facilitating both in vivo and in vitro mechanistic studies.
