Description
EK1 sodium salt is a broad-spectrum coronavirus fusion inhibitor that targets the HR1 domain of the viral S protein, blocking fusion between the virus and the host cell membrane and thereby inhibiting viral entry. In vitro, EK1 sodium salt has demonstrated inhibitory activity against a variety of β-coronaviruses and is commonly used in studies of viral infection mechanisms and antiviral drug screening.
