Eotaxin Rhesus Macaque Recombinant Protein (CCL11)

  • Description:

Recombinant Eotaxin Rhesus Macaque produced in E.coli cells is a non-glycosylated, homodimeric protein containing 74 amino acid chain and having a molecular mass of 8.4kDa. The Eotaxin is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
  • Synonyms:

Small inducible cytokine A11; CCL11; Eosinophil chemotactic protein; chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 11; SCYA11; MGC22554
  • Gene Name:

    CCL11
  • UniProt:

    Q8MIT7
  • Reactivity:

    Monkey
  • Source:

    Escherichia coli
  • Sequence:

    [object Object]
  • Purification:

Greater than 97.0% as determined by (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC and (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
  • Bioactivity:

    57
  • Form:

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
  • Reconstitution:

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Eotaxin Recombinant in sterile distilled H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
  • Function:

In response to the presence of allergens, this protein directly promotes the accumulation of eosinophils, a prominent feature of allergic inflammatory reactions. Binds to CCR3 (By similarity) .
  • Shipping Conditions:

    Available
  • Storage Conditions:

Lyophilized Eotaxin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Eotaxin should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) . Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
