α-Dendrotoxin (α-DTX), a neurotoxin from the green mamba venom, is a selective blocker of KV1.1, KV1.2, KV1.6, and ASIC channels. It is widely used in neuroscience research to study potassium channel function and neuronal excitability in both in vitro electrophysiology and in vivo neuropharmacology models.
