Description
Bid BH3 (80-99) is a pro-apoptotic peptide from the BH3-only family that interacts with Bcl-2, Bax, and Bak to regulate cell death. Its function is studied in apoptosis research using in vitro binding assays and cellular models to investigate mitochondrial membrane permeabilization. The pyroglutamyl modification at its N-terminus can enhance its stability.
