Description
Heteropodatoxin-2 is a 30-amino acid peptide that selectively blocks Kv4.2 potassium channels in a voltage-dependent manner, with diminished efficacy at depolarized potentials. This toxin is a valuable research tool for studying transient outward currents (Ito) in cardiac myocytes and neurons in both in vitro and in vivo models.
