Description
PR-39 TFA is a proline/arginine-rich antibacterial peptide that acts as a reversible, allosteric proteasome inhibitor by binding the α7 subunit. This action stabilizes IκBα to inhibit NF-κB signaling, and it has demonstrated pro-angiogenic, anti-inflammatory, and cardioprotective effects, including reducing infarct size in murine models.
