This exocyclic peptide TNF-α antagonist mimics the TNFRI binding site, blocking TNF-α and RANK signaling to inhibit osteoclast activation. It is a research tool used in vitro and in vivo to study inflammatory bone resorption in models of rheumatoid arthritis and systemic bone loss.
