Description
This small molecule is a potent amylin (AMY3) receptor antagonist with an IC50 of 0.3 μM. It demonstrates neuroprotective effects against Aβ (1-42) -induced cytotoxicity in vitro and is brain penetrant. In vivo, it improves spatial memory and reduces amyloid plaque burden in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease.
