ADAMTSL-1
Description:
ADAMTSL-1, also known as Punctin, is a secreted glycoprotein resembling members of the ADAMTS family although it lacks the propeptide region and the metalloproteinase and disintegrin-like domains. ADAMTSL1 is expressed in adult skeletal muscle and may have important functions in the extracellular matrix. Alternative splicing of the ADAMTSL-1 transcript results in three isoforms. Isoform1 is the longest and contains the entire isoform 2. Isoform 3 has the same sequence as isoforms 1 and 2 until residue 361, but a unique C-terminal end of 78 amino acids.Synonyms:
