  Coniferyl ferulate is a strong inhibitor of glutathione S-transferase (GST) isolated from Radix Angelicae sinensis. It shows strong inhibition of human placental GST (IC50: 0.3 ?M) . It also reverses multidrug resistance and downregulates P-glycoprotein.
