Long descriptionThis outstanding recombinant Protein A is coupled through a cysteine at the carboxy terminus creating an ether linkage to highly cross-linked agarose. It contains 6 mg of recombinant Protein A per ml of beads. The combinantion provides superior performance, binding 50 mg of human IgG per ml of beads under static conditions. Binding under flow will be less depending on the flow rate for all Protein A and Protein G products. Flow rate of 30 to 300 cm/hr are possible with this highly cross-linked agarose product under gravity flow, but it is not designed to pump under high pressure.
