Long description
CD56, M.W. 150,000, is expressed on approximately 10-25% of human peripheral blood lymphocytes. CD56 (NKH-1) is expressed on human peripheral blood natural killer cells, representing a pan NK-cell antigen. Expressed on non-MHC-restricted cytotoxic T cells. _x000B__x000B_ExalphaÕs CD56, clone C5.9 has been recognized as the superior CD56 antibody for Flow Cytometry applications because of itÕs specific and intense staining. In fact, our CD56 is bright enough to be used in FITC! Now this antibody is proven to work in formalin fixed paraffin embedded section._x000B_Available concentrated, pre-diluted in dropper bottles, or conjugated to several flurochromes for manual use or automated applications.

Antibody s suited for
PBMC: Add10 µl of MAB/10^6 PBMC in 100 µl PBS. Mix gently and incubate for 15 minutes at 2¼ to 8¼ C. Wash twice with PBS and analyze or fix with 0.5% v/v of paraformaldehyde in PBS and analyze. WHOLE BLOOD: Add10 µl of MAB/100 µl of whole blood. Mix gently and incubate for 15 minutes at room temperature 20¼C. Lyse the whole blood. Wash once with PBS and analyze or fix with 0.5% v/v of paraformaldehyde in PBS and analyze. See instrument manufacturerÕs instructions for Lysed Whole Blood and Immunofluorescence analysis with a flow cytometer or microscope.

Description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

Test
Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.

Antibody, Mouse, Percp, anti, antibody to, antibodies against human proteins, antibodies for, antibody Conjugates, mouses, Peridinin chlorophyll protein (PerCP) has a 677 nanometer maximum emission, red, when excited at 488 nanometers and the Mouse anti CD56 antibody conjugated PerCP is detected on the FL3 detector of a FACSCalibur or FACScan. A PerCP dye is also available (PerCP-Cy5.5, also written Cy5.5-PerCP). PerCP is not suited for the high-powered lasing (>150mW) applications, such as on a MoFlo, due to it photobleaching (features/ qualities/ traits). PerCP conjugates can only be received/be gotten from the Becton Dickinson/Pharmingen group of companies or from nordc.
